The girls were able to attend a church event called "Time Out For Women" with speakers, musical guests, shopping, food... it was great. None of us had ever been and we all had such a great time we already have it on the schedule for next year. I really enjoyed it and can't wait for next year. I enjoyed the time with the girls, the time to actually listen to the speakers (it gets harder and harder with Blake running around) and the chance to just enjoy some time away from everyday life!!!
The boys were great and they agreed to watch the kiddos while us girls were away. The did more "manly" stuff like fix windows, mow the lawn, etc. I think they liked that better! They had a chance to get away on Saturday night for a movie though...it wasn't all hard work!
Again...it was a great weekend with a little girl time, a little boy time and a lot of family time which was perfect.
